Wesley has been around cars his whole life. Its hard not to be when your Dad has owned his own Automotive shop for over twenty-three years. By the time Wesley was five years old he was already taking apart carburetors to see what he could find. At the Boswell's house in Pioneer, California Wesley had three acres of land to play on. Riding dirt bikes and four wheelers was a regular weekend activity for Wesley while he was living up there. Eventually riding dirt bikes and four wheelers every weekend got a bit boring to Wesley, and his Dad was tired of fixing all the things he broke.

So Wesley and his Dad went out to find something new to do on the weekends. That's when they discovered the sport of karting. The first time Wesley saw those karts zipping around the track he was hooked. So Wesley and his Dad found two used karts for sale in the paper that were all apart, put them back together and eventually they were on their way. After a few years of racing local club races Wesley finally got to climb into an 80cc shifter kart. In only his second season of racing the 80 shifters Wesley managed to earn two podium finishes at his first Superkarts U.S.A. (SKUSA) Promoto race at the Cal Expo.

Wesley was then picked up by Team MMI out of Livermore, CA and became a factory driver. Being with Team MMI helped Wesley in the areas that needed improving. This would only lead to bigger and better things for Wesley's racing career. In 2002 Wesley stepped into a 125-shifter kart. His first season in the 125 class has been the most successful yet with seven wins and thirteen top five finishes. At the 2002 SKUSA Supernationals, hosted by "The Rio hotel and Casino" in Las Vegas Nevada, Wesley closed out the season at the largest shifter kart race in America with a blazing lap record time that was unbreakable. After achieving this high set goal, Wesley feels he has almost reached the end of the karting program and is looking to take his racing to the next level.
